We are now seeking 8 nursing assistants on temporary contracts for our somatic and dementia units at 65-75% at our special residential facility Hasselbacken!
All positions start 260901 and run until 270228, 270301, 270630 or 270901 depending on the position. When you apply, you answer questions about which position you are most interested in.
When needed, we collaborate with all departments in the house as well as other activities in our area, which means work in more than one department and workplace may occur.
As a nursing assistant in a special residential facility, you work together with your colleagues to provide care adapted to the individual. We support our care recipients with personal care, daily rehabilitation and social activation to provide a meaningful everyday life.
You follow basic hygiene routines, wear work clothes and have a respectful and professional approach towards both care recipients, colleagues, relatives and other people we meet in our work.
Here's what you will work with:
Help with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing and toilet visits as well as support during meals
Work according to person-centered care where you adapt support based on the individual's unique needs and wishes
The role includes administering medication, which means you need to receive delegation from licensed staff
Support in daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry and minor shopping in the local area
Participate in social activities, provide support and guidance
Document according to guidelines and prepare and follow implementation plans to ensure good quality and safe care
Collaborate with colleagues, unit managers, nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists as well as cooperate with relatives
Follow workplace routines and guidelines
Be a contact person or permanent care contact and together with the individual plan how the services should be provided

Who are you?
You who are applying are trained as a nursing assistant. You have good computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish, in reading, speaking and writing. We would like you to have experience from care work, but it is not a requirement.
We value your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is confident, flexible and takes responsibility for your own tasks. You have a good ability to cooperate and build relationships with a respectful and helpful approach. You have an understanding of other people's needs and feelings.

We conduct language tests for positions within elderly care, so you may need to take a test before a possible employment.
To be employed as a nursing assistant with us, you need to provide proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from an employer of permanent employment as a nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023. Attach this to your application.
