The day activity center's mission is to strengthen and utilize the individual's abilities, promote self-esteem, and create conditions for a safe and meaningful life in their own home for as long as possible. JOB DUTIES The day activity center is aimed at people with some form of cognitive impairment who need stimulation, structure, social community, and security in their daily lives. The operation is conducted in small groups at Engelska vägen and Vänskapens väg, where we work person-centered based on each individual's needs, resources, and current condition. With us, participation, meaningfulness, and respectful treatment are in focus. Work may take place at both operational units. As a nursing assistant at the day activity center, you will, among other things: • Plan and implement meaningful social activities • Create security, structure, and participation in daily life • Adapt approach and activities based on the individual's needs • Document according to the center's guidelines • Collaborate with colleagues, family members, and other professionals • Contribute to the development of the operation and common working methods The center is open Monday through Friday, but this may change based on the center's future needs. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • Are a trained nursing assistant • Have experience working with people with cognitive impairment • Have a B driver's license and can cycle • Express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written • Have basic digital competence and can document according to applicable procedures • Are flexible with an ability to adapt your working methods based on participants' individual needs Specialist training in the field of cognitive impairment is meritorious. It is also meritorious to have experience working in day activity centers and planning and leading group activities. As a person, you are calm, composed, and structured in your approach and have good interpersonal skills that create security and trust with both participants and family members. Furthermore, you take initiative, have good collaboration and communication skills, and thrive in an operation where development, quality, and person-centered work are in focus. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, initiative, and ability to contribute to the development of the operation.
