At Bråddgatan 31 home care, we are currently a wonderful and dedicated team of 43 employees who provide services in ordinary home settings. We consist of three care teams that provide services in central Norrköping.
As a nursing assistant with us, you'll have two unit managers with close and trust-based leadership and the opportunity to work in the heart of the city with proximity to everything.
We are now seeking three new colleagues who want to join us and create the right conditions to provide our clients with the best possible care!
Your responsibilities
Working in home care at Bråddgatan gives you a concrete opportunity to make a difference in people's everyday lives. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing individually adapted care, service, and support based on each client's needs, wishes, and circumstances.
Our clients' needs guide the workday, and your tasks may include personal care, service assignments, meal assistance, walks, accompaniment, and social interaction.
Through respectful and professional interaction, you contribute to creating security, participation, and a meaningful everyday life for the individual.
An important part of the role is to motivate, support, and when needed, help the client maintain and develop their independence in everyday activities.
You document services according to current guidelines, create and follow up on care plans, and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to ensure good and safe care and services.
We work based on a professional, person-centered, and rehabilitative approach where the client's needs, participation, and self-determination are always at the center.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations.
We view it positively if you have experience working in care and health services, as well as experience in service professions.
We see that you are secure, flexible, and responsible as a person. You take your own initiatives while understanding the organization's frameworks, routines, and mission.
You easily adapt to changed situations and ways of working and see opportunities even when circumstances change.
You are energized by meeting others and creating meaningful relationships. With the client's needs in focus, you have the ability to listen, understand, and adapt your support based on each person's individual circumstances and wishes.
Through professional and respectful interaction, you contribute to security and good quality care.
You enjoy collaborating with colleagues, willingly share knowledge and information, and actively contribute to a positive work environment.
You see the value of working together to find good solutions and create the best conditions for our clients.
In your role as a nursing assistant, you have a calm and accommodating manner, even in stressful situations. You can prioritize, make assessments, and make well-founded decisions based on the client's needs and the organization's goals. You take responsibility for your tasks and act with good judgment in your daily work.
You communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and have good computer skills. It is expected that you accept any delegations the organization needs.
