Elder care in Umeå Municipality aims to be a resource that, through proximity and collaboration, frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life. Tegs care and residential facility is beautifully situated by the Umeälven river, approximately 2 km from central Umeå, with proximity to lovely green areas. The facility consists of 102 apartments distributed across 10 units and features a café, a common room for activities and entertainment, and a light room. We are expanding and are now seeking several nursing assistants to join our team! Your responsibilities With a professional approach and good conduct, you will assist our residents in their daily lives. The residents' self-determination is the focus, and you will contribute to ensuring that services are provided with high quality, in accordance with care decisions and implementation plans. You will assist with showering, laundry, cleaning, meals, and other services. Your responsibilities also include documenting measures and health status as well as medical tasks delegated by the responsible nurse. Scheduled work hours including days, evenings, and weekends. About you In your interactions with residents, you must be empathetic, driven, and solution-focused, and possess personal maturity. You demonstrate strong commitment to both individual residents and the operations in all relationships and actions. You thrive working independently and have a strong ability to collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, family members, and other professionals. We place great importance on your personal suitability. Requirements: Trained nursing assistant Experience in care work Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing, to be able to communicate with service users, family members, and colleagues, write and review care documentation, and receive medication delegation Desirable: Experience working in elder care Heavy lifting occurs; moving aids should be used.
