We work with support and care for seniors and people with disabilities. The goal is for them to be able to live as active and independent a life as possible, and you will be part of contributing to that. As a member of our team, you will develop qualities such as creativity, flexibility, courage, empathy, and teamwork skills. We are now hiring nursing assistants for our unit in the Bårsta area. Your responsibilities As a nursing assistant, your role includes being a fixed care contact for our seniors, providing security and continuity in care. As a nursing assistant, you provide good care based on support assessment decisions. You help our home care clients with everything they need in daily life and create a meaningful existence based on individual circumstances, wishes, and needs. You strengthen and enable abilities, inspire and motivate home care clients to participate and contribute to an active life in community with others based on each individual's needs. As an employee, we are guests when we visit and help our seniors manage their daily lives in their own homes. You work closely with colleagues, group leaders, and the unit manager to together provide safe and secure care for our seniors. Together we develop good quality and a good work environment. Who are you? - We are looking for someone who enjoys working with seniors and sees the bigger picture in care. - You find it easy to build relationships and create trust, and you are attentive and flexible. - You take personal responsibility and work well with colleagues, management, and family members. Requirements: - Completed nursing assistant education (healthcare and care program at gymnasium, adult education center, or vocational college with at least 1450 points) or equivalent education - Very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing - Comfortable computer user, able to document in social journals and create implementation plans Meritorious: - Proficiency in languages other than Swedish, preferably Finnish - You have experience working as a nursing assistant in home care or similar. We work in a small geographic area and our seniors live close to each other. You will have many work colleagues that you collaborate with as we help each other throughout the organization. The positions are a 6-month temporary assignment at part-time to full-time with good chances for extension. Working hours vary between day and evening shifts all days of the week.
