We are now recruiting nursing assistants and care aides for some of our supportive housing facilities in Karlstad Municipality: Källans care and supportive housing, Våxnäs supportive housing, and Hagaborg supportive housing. Then this could be the job for you. As a nursing assistant or care aide, you meet people in their daily lives and support them based on their individual needs, circumstances, and wishes. You meet care recipients who have physical challenges and other support needs that prevent them from receiving adequate care and support in their own homes. Our care recipients live in their own apartments and receive the support they need based on their assessed care needs – always with respect for the individual's wishes and self-determination. The work includes personal care, service provisions, delegated health and medical care tasks, and rehabilitative approaches. We work person-centered and place great emphasis on creating safety, participation, and quality of life for our care recipients. You become an important part of their daily life and contribute to an environment where social community, meaningful activities, and good treatment are central. Together with colleagues from various professions, you work to provide each care recipient with the best possible support and create conditions for a fulfilling, meaningful, and safe life. In the role of nursing assistant with us, the assignment includes serving as a primary care contact. This involves, among other things, responsibility for care plans, coordinating care services, and functioning as a trusted link between care recipients, relatives, colleagues, and health and medical care. Work is scheduled during day and evening shifts with every other weekend on call, or night shifts with every other weekend on call. Split shifts occur. How can we support you? You are responsible, flexible, and have good interpersonal skills. You enjoy working both independently and with others and communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We appreciate that you are experienced using digital tools and are curious about continued digital development.
