The role of Nursing Assistant at Falck Non-Emergency Patient Transport and Deceased Transport involves:
- Transporting patients on behalf of Region Östergötland who, for medical reasons, cannot be transported in any other way than lying down and who do not require care during transport. The service area covers all of Östergötland and also includes transport of deceased.
- Spending a significant portion of your time communicating with clients from various care facilities and wards as well as private individuals, so it is important that you enjoy customer interaction.
- Information and communication management in various data systems in our dispatch center, which also includes Falck's Ambulance operations line. We coordinate our transports and receive bookings here.
Qualifications:
- Trained nursing assistant. Upon employment, you must be able to provide a certificate of protected title.
- One year of work experience as a nursing assistant or ambulance care provider
- Class B driver's license with good driving experience and the ability to navigate Östergötland
- Good physical capacity as the work may involve heavy lifting
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

Other Information:
- Permanent full-time position with a 6-month probation period. Based in Norrköping with operations throughout Östergötland.
- Operations run 24/7, which means shifts include weekdays and weekends with day, evening, and night shifts.
- The recruitment process includes interviews, reference checks, a police background check, and proof of a valid Class B driver's license. We also conduct a driving test with our vehicles to see how you handle a vehicle and a brief physical fitness assessment.
