The Care Administration works based on the principle that all people we meet have equal value and are unique. Within the administration, we have IFO, LSS activities, social psychiatry, health and medical care, home care services, and special residential facilities. Around 900 employees work here around the clock for our target groups. One of our home care teams operates from Horndal, approximately 22 miles outside Avesta. Here you'll be one of about 20 employees serving clients with approved home care services. We cover a relatively large geographic area but actively work to always stay close. To ensure our clients meet the same people as much as possible, we're divided into smaller areas but also cover for each other when needed. We're now looking for a dedicated nursing assistant who wants to join our team. About the position As a nursing assistant in Horndal Home Care Services, you work closely with our clients and provide care, support, and nursing based on approved services. The work is varied and involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues and other professionals. Your work tasks include, among others: Provide care and support to clients in their own homes. Perform personal care, such as assistance with hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meals. Support clients in social activities, such as walks and social interaction. Perform delegated health and medical care services, such as medication management. Handle safety alarms. Document completed services and report deviations according to applicable procedures. Plan and authorize services and use mobile phones and digital business systems in daily work. Travel between clients' homes by walking, cycling, or driving a car. Perform transfers and other physical work tasks. Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to ensure good and safe care. When needed, work in other units within the Care Administration according to joint planning. Qualifications We're looking for someone with: Completed and approved nursing assistant training. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to communicate with clients and document according to applicable guidelines. Good digital skills and basic knowledge of e-health and welfare technology. You use computer and mobile phone as natural work tools. Category B driver's license and the ability to drive a car in service. It is advantageous if you have: Experience working in home care services or other care-related professions.
