Nursing Assistants for Night Shift at Byalagsgatan Short-term Housing

Description We are looking for you who want to make a difference for adults who need short-term support, care, and rehabilitation. Our residents often have extensive medical and care needs, and we work with daily rehabilitation to promote recovery and increased independence. Work Tasks As a nursing assistant, you work with individually adapted care based on a salutogenic approach. You encourage participation and self-determination and contribute to security and continuity. The work is based on individual goals and measures that are documented in implementation plans. At the short-term housing facility, you work in multidisciplinary teams with nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, educational support staff, administrative personnel, and unit managers. As night staff, you contribute to continuity through documentation and handover of relevant information and follow up on the implementation plan by documenting observations, needs, and measures during the night. You need to be able to work independently, prioritize between different needs, and act calmly when situations change. Work tasks during night shift include: Personal care and individual support during the night Security-creating supervision and support based on individual needs Support in meal situations when needed Information transfer and collaboration with colleagues and other professionals Documentation of measures, observations, and changes in the individual's needs Execution of delegated health and care services on behalf of a nurse, occupational therapist, or physical therapist Implementation of rehabilitative measures according to prescription Management of tracheostomy according to delegation Handover of relevant information to the next work shift The work is both varied and developmental. Night shift requires a flexible, structured, and situation-adapted way of working. Qualifications We are looking for you who have a nursing assistant education from the care and nursing program or the care and nursing program for adults. It is also a requirement that you have experience working in care and nursing. Communication is an important part of the work, which requires that you have a passing grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1.
