We are now looking for nursing assistants or care aides for our special residential care facility Ängegården, located in central Brunflo. Ängegården consists of 6 units with a total of 50 residential care places and 9 places for respite care/short-term stays. Each unit has balconies and a shared space for meals, activities, and social gatherings. The courtyard features a pleasant outdoor area, and close to the facility you'll find a dentist, health center, and pharmacy. We are now seeking three nursing assistants or care aides at 80%, with the possibility to work 100% within the Care and Social Services Administration. Work hours are scheduled for day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend duty. Your New Job As a nursing assistant or care aide at Ängegården, you work to promote and strengthen our residents' physical, mental, and social health. Your task is to support residents and facilitate their daily lives. Working with people is the focus, and you contribute to creating good relationships with family/loved ones and other professional groups. In your work, you collaborate with other nursing assistants, care aides, nurses, occupational therapist, physical therapist, coordinator, and unit manager. You provide personal care based on individual needs and perform delegated health and medical care services, such as specific care and rehabilitation. Your work also includes contact responsibility and advocacy roles. Another important part of your work is to regularly document in our operational systems. Common Work Tasks Assist residents with personal hygiene and basic care Offer residents meaningful days through various activities Prepare for meals and prepare light meals Assist with transfers Administer medications according to medical delegation and prescription Delegated health care tasks such as simple bed changes and catheter care Care documentation Contact person responsibilities Your Competence Requirements 1 year of experience working in elderly care Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Merits Trained nursing assistant Trained care aide Experience working with people with dementia Knowledge of nutrition and meal service work Good computer skills We Are Looking for You As a person, you are calm, attentive, and have an interest, willingness, and ability to help others.
