The position is located within the Care and Social Services Department, one of eight departments in Linköping Municipality. The Care and Social Services Department is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, health and medical services, authority functions, procurement of services, and operates care and social services in-house. Your Responsibilities Are you a person who is passionate about making a difference? Then we're looking for you for home services in Tallboda! As a member of our team, you will be part of a committed work group that works to improve quality of life for our elderly in Tallboda. Here we place great emphasis on the individual's needs and work with methods such as IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus) and a salutogenic approach. In your work, you will perform personal care, provide support in daily life, and document your efforts in our electronic health record system. You will be a fixed care contact for one or more of our service users. The position is a permanent employment at 100%. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and every other weekend. Your Workplace Tallboda Home Services is a smaller operation that extends across Tallboda and the surrounding area. Staff operate from our office on Gränsliden in Tallboda and there are good bus connections from the travel center in Linköping. About You We're looking for someone with experience working in care and social services, and we consider it meritorious if you have previously worked in home services. Beyond this, we think it's good if you have a completed upper secondary education and we consider it a plus if you're a trained nursing assistant. For this position, it's positive if you have experience documenting in electronic health record systems and if you have experience with the IBIC approach (Individual Needs in Focus). We also consider it positive if you have knowledge of a salutogenic approach and low-arousal communication techniques. The work involves a lot of customer contact and documentation, which means it's important that you can express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish. You also need to be comfortable using digital tools. To be able to move between different service users, it is a requirement that you can cycle and that you have a B-level driving license. We're looking for someone who is self-directed, responsible, and has the ability to drive your work forward. At the same time, you enjoy working with others and have an easy time communicating and building good relationships. You can understand others' perspectives and act with empathy for their situation.
