Your Work Tasks
Do you want to help create a safe and meaningful daily life for Linköping residents? At Solgläntans Care Residence, you contribute with your knowledge and presence to make every day a little better. Right now we are looking for two new colleagues who want to become part of our wonderful work team. The positions are a fixed-term employment and a temporary position until 2027-01-31, and working hours include day, evening, and weekend shifts.
As an employee at Solgläntans Care Residence, you are an important part of meeting residents' individual needs and creating a safe environment. You work closely with your colleagues to create a meaningful daily life where residents have the opportunity for social interaction and activities such as singing, cooking, and gardening. Your care tasks include support with mobility, assistance with personal hygiene, household chores, and simple medical procedures. We work based on IBIC (Individual Needs at the Center) and with a salutogenic approach, which means we focus on each individual's strengths and bring out their own abilities.
You will also be assigned as a contact person for a number of individuals, which includes responsibility for implementation plans and continuous documentation in the Treserva system.

Welcome to Solgläntans Care Residence – a small operation with 10 places for people with dementia. The residence is located in a quiet and pleasant residential area in Vikingstad that creates a homely and safe environment for our residents.
Solgläntan recently transitioned to municipal operation, which means an exciting development phase where we together build on an operation with high quality, good treatment, and person-centered care. The small unit's size provides good opportunities to get to know each resident and create close cooperation between staff, residents, and families.
With us, we work with a focus on participation, safety, and quality of life, where each individual's needs, wishes, and abilities are at the center.
About You
We are looking for you who have completed upper secondary education and experience working in support, care, and social services where care work has been included. We consider it essential that you can accept delegations such as medication and insulin administration. If you have nursing assistant training, we see that as a positive. It is meriting if you have worked in elderly care and/or dementia care. Furthermore, it is meriting to have experience with the BPSD (behavioral and psychological symptoms in dementia) approach.
To manage the work tasks, you need to have good computer skills and be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as clear communication with colleagues, residents, and their families is central.
We see that you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks, which means you can plan and carry out interventions in a structured way. Your cooperation skills mean that you can work together with colleagues, share information, and solve problems constructively. Empathy is central in meeting with residents, which means you can understand their situation and provide support without taking on their emotions. At the same time, you communicate clearly with both residents and colleagues and ensure that information reaches and is followed up so that all expectations are clear.
To ensure high quality in our operations, a language test is included in the recruitment process. Upon employment, you also need to present an extract from the criminal record register from the Police.
