Ljungsätra is located by the Lagan River with walking paths, close to a bus stop and shops. The building consists of three sections with four floors, a total of 80 apartments.

WORK TASKS
Do you want to help create a safe, meaningful, and valuable everyday life for elderly people? Welcome to the special housing facility Ljungsätra. With us, you get a job where you make a difference in someone else's life every day.
As a nursing assistant or care worker, you work closely with the care recipients and base your work on their individual needs, wishes, and circumstances. You support them in daily life to promote independence, participation, and quality of life. Work tasks include personal care, services, social activities, and documentation according to applicable guidelines.
You become an important part of an engaged team where collaboration, respect, and a person-centered approach permeate the operations. Together, we create a safe and stimulating environment for both care recipients and employees.
For you as a nursing assistant, the role of primary care contact may be included, which means you have a particularly important role in creating continuity, safety, and good coordination for the care recipient, as well as being a natural contact for relatives and colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant or care worker with a genuine interest in working with and supporting elderly people in their daily lives.
For the position of nursing assistant, you must have proof of the protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare. As a trained nursing assistant, you are also expected, in accordance with applicable legislation, to be able to take on the role of primary care contact and contribute to continuity, safety, and coordination for the individual.
You have good collaboration skills, a professional approach, and the ability to meet care recipients, relatives, and colleagues with respect and attentiveness.
Meritorious qualifications
We would like you to have training in low-affect interaction or other equivalent competence that strengthens the ability to meet people with respect, attentiveness, and professionalism even in complex situations. You have a calm and reassuring approach and the ability to build trusting relationships with care recipients, relatives, and colleagues.
Education and/or experience working with people with cognitive impairment, including dementia, is meritorious. We value knowledge of person-centered care and the ability to adapt support and interaction based on the individual's needs and circumstances.
The employer requires a criminal record check before employment.
