JOB DUTIES Your assignment is based on the individual tenant's integrity and according to our values which are built on the fact that every person is unique and valuable. Your task is to be a professional practitioner and work to strengthen the individual's abilities and resources from a salutogenic perspective. In your role as a nursing assistant, you will provide personal service and care to our tenants and work to stimulate the individual's resources. As a nursing assistant, you should be able to perform healthcare tasks after delegation by a nurse and use digital solutions in healthcare and care. The role of nursing assistant requires reliability and respect for people's personal integrity. As a nursing assistant on the night shift, you need to feel confident with a lot of independent work. You have great commitment to care work, are resourceful and responsive to tenants' needs. You should be able to carry out the approved services for the elderly based on their individual circumstances. You should be able to contribute to a positive work environment, be open to change and responsive, and have a good approach towards colleagues and other professionals. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements Trained care assistant, credentials must be provided. Computer skills and ability to document. Able to speak and write good Swedish. Merits Trained nursing assistant. Professional certification must be provided. It is a merit if you have experience from Procapita/Lifecare and APPVA. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-09-01 Start date by agreement, earliest September 1st. Working hours: Shift work. Night shift, 21:00-07:00 with meal breaks. To be eligible for employment within the Elderly Care Administration in Karlskrona Municipality, a certificate from the police's criminal record register must be provided. It is important to order the correct certificate; Register extract for work at HVB homes, and remember to order the extract well in advance, as processing time can be a couple of weeks. Karlskrona Municipality works with full-time as the norm and offers 100% employment rate but with the option of part-time. Working hours are scheduled daytime and evening during weekdays and weekends.
