We are seeking nursing assistants/care workers for Kopparsvanens Nursing Home units 1-7! As one of our departments is transformed into a dementia-focused unit, we are strengthening our staffing and seeking dedicated employees who want to contribute to safety and care at our nursing home, around the clock. Our goal is to deliver high-quality services through good planning with both the user and the employee in focus. Your Responsibilities Within your role, you are responsible for performing individualized care work according to the applicable care plan at Kopparsvanens Nursing Home 1-7. You assist users with personal care such as hygiene, dressing, and meals and work to create safety and provide social support. You contribute to giving our users a meaningful day and strive to maintain their well-being. Your responsibilities also include observing and reporting changes in health status, ensuring proper documentation, and handling medications as delegated. The work requires great responsibility, independence, and good collaboration with colleagues. Your responsibilities also include being a contact person for one or two users in the department. As a contact, you maintain dialogue with family members and ensure that the care plan is up to date. About You We prefer that you have nursing assistant training, and it is also an advantage if you have experience in care work within dementia. To succeed in this role, we see that you are flexible, responsive, and have good empathetic abilities. We see that you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks with the individual in focus. Furthermore, we see that you remain calm and stable in stressful situations and work well with others. Documentation is an important part of the work and requires that you have a good understanding of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as some computer experience. About the Position The position is a permanent employment on part-time or full-time basis, depending on your preferences. Start date by agreement.
