About the role Your task is to support elderly people with decisions on home care in Östermalm. The work consists of, among other things, helping elderly people in their own homes with personal care, service tasks such as shopping and cleaning, and responding to security alarms. The work tasks also include performing social documentation. Thanks to you, our customers can continue to live at home and maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time you develop valuable knowledge about care, service and aging. You participate in the work of maintaining good quality and developing our operations. About Vardaga Home Care Team Skeppargatan We have about 60 employees and we staff home care seven days a week. We have an office/location on Skeppargatan in Östermalm – close to the subway and our customers who all live in Östermalm. We have a clear organization regarding different roles, routines and what is expected of our employees at customer locations. Group managers, operations managers and weekend supervisors are available to support you in your work. All home care customers live in Östermalm. The position is a permanent employment starting in September 2026 with a 6-month probationary period. The position is at 97.38% with duty every other weekend and working hours on weekdays 07:30-16:00 and 07:30-16:00 on weekends. Your experience and knowledge We are looking for you who: 1. Are trained nursing assistant or trained caregiver with at least 950 points. 2. Want and can work day shift and work every other weekend with working hours 07:30-16:00 and 07:30-16:00 on weekends with a fixed rotating schedule. 3. Are a creative person who dares to think for yourself and take own responsibility. 4. Are curious about other people and have a social approach. 5. Like to move around (walk) as the work is active and involves some outdoor work and requires good physical fitness. 6. Have good knowledge of social documentation, cooking, cleaning and care and much more. 7. Good at cooperating with others – colleagues, customers, relatives and managers. 8. Have experience working in elderly care and preferably in home care. 9. You need to be able to read, write and express yourself in good Swedish according to new language requirements in elderly care. 10. Are a positive person who sees solutions and not just problems.
