About the Position We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant, or alternatively a care assistant, and who wants to be an important part of our residents' daily lives. You work with standard care tasks, with a particular focus on safe and high-quality care. The work also includes delegated tasks from the nurse, such as medication administration. The positions are at an employment level of approximately 75%. Please note that Blidösundsgården is located on Blidö, an island in Norrtälje's beautiful archipelago. To get here smoothly, you need to have a driver's license and access to your own car. Your responsibilities include, among other things: Standard nursing assistant/care assistant tasks. Care of residents. Documentation. Cleaning and laundry. What We Offer: We offer a wellness allowance of up to 5000 kr annually. For those working part-time, the amount is adjusted proportionally according to your employment level. About You For this position, you need: Good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written. A driver's license and access to your own car, if you do not already live on or near the island. It is advantageous if you also have: Training as a nursing assistant with a certificate of protected professional title to be employed as a nursing assistant - otherwise you will be employed as a care assistant where training is not a requirement. Experience working in elderly care. Experience with mental health issues and dementia diseases. Good computer skills as documentation and signing is done digitally. As a person, you are flexible and confident. You have empathy in your interactions with other people and a genuine interest in working in this profession. You have good collaboration skills, take responsibility, and have the ability to remain calm and make wise priorities even in more demanding situations. You take your own initiative, are self-directed, and are committed to providing good service. You share our values, which are based on participation, safety, and respect. The staff group consists of 14 employees working day and night shifts. The home has its own chef. Our goal is to create living spaces that we ourselves would choose to live in.
