Your Work Tasks
We are looking for you to become part of our team at Blandaren Home Services!
As a nursing assistant or care aide in home services, you help our service users based on their individual needs. Work tasks can include personal care, household chores, and medical interventions. It can range from helping with morning routines, serving breakfast and assisting with showering, to administering medication or accompanying someone on a walk.
Interventions vary depending on the individual's needs, and we work using the Individual-Centered Needs approach (IBIC), where the person's wishes and circumstances are the focus.
With us, nursing assistants and care aides work together as a team. You share the role of contact person, which means you participate in welcome meetings and together with the individual plan and follow up on support measures. You are also responsible for care plans and documentation in the Treserva record system. The role also includes collaboration with family members and other professionals regarding the individual's needs.
Your Workplace
Blandaren Home Services and safe living facility are centrally located, just a few minutes from Linköping Central Station. Around 30 nursing assistants and care aides work here together with home healthcare nurses. We have 38 apartments in our safe living facility and simultaneously manage home services in the central city area.
Operations are organized into three teams: One in-house team that works in the safe living facility and two out-house teams that work in regular housing.
Continuity is an important part of our approach. Therefore, we plan interventions so that the same staff member meets the same individuals during the day. This creates security for the individual, strengthens relationships, and gives us better opportunities to detect health and well-being changes early.
About You
We are looking for you who have completed upper secondary education. Having completed education as a nursing assistant is a merit. You have work or internship experience in care and support. It is a merit if you have experience working with people with dementia and if you have knowledge of low-arousal approaches and a salutogenic perspective.
Since the work involves extensive contact with service users, family members, and colleagues, you need to communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You are experienced in using digital tools in your work. Experience with documentation in record systems is a merit.
For this position, you need to be able to cycle.
As a person, you take responsibility for your work tasks and work independently. You collaborate well with others, are responsive, and communicate clearly. You also have good empathetic ability and can understand other people's situations and needs. Through professional conduct, you contribute to security and good care.
