Do you want to be part of creating a safe and meaningful daily life for Linköping residents? At Berga Care Residence, you contribute with your knowledge and presence to make each day a little better.
As an employee at Berga Care Residence, you are an important part of meeting residents' individual needs and creating a safe environment. You work closely with your colleagues to create a meaningful daily life where residents have opportunities for social interaction and activities such as singing, cooking, and gardening. Your care tasks include assistance with transfers, help with personal hygiene, household chores, and simpler medical interventions. We work based on IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus) and with a salutogenic approach, which means we recognize each individual's strengths and bring out their own abilities.
You will also be assigned as a contact person for a number of individuals, which means responsibility for implementation plans and continuous documentation in the Treserva system.

At Berga Care Residence, you become part of a welcoming culture and a dedicated work team of 36 employees, of which seven work nights. The positions are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts with a employment level of 85-100%.
The residence is located in Berga with four departments and a total of 42 places and offers bright rooms of approximately 36 square meters with private bathrooms and kitchenettes. All rooms have access to common areas such as a kitchen and living room, as well as outdoor spaces and enclosed terraces. Here we use BEATA, an individually adapted work method that includes digital monitoring and digital alarms, which increases privacy for residents and reduces the need for physical supervision.
About You
We are looking for someone with a completed upper secondary education and experience working in care, support, and social services where nursing care has been included. If you have a nursing assistant education, we see that as positive. It is meriting if you have worked in elderly care and/or dementia care. Further, it is meriting to have experience with the BPSD (behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia) approach.
To handle the work tasks, you need to have good computer skills and be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as clear communication with colleagues, residents, and their relatives is central.
We see that you are self-directed and take responsibility for your tasks, which means you can plan and implement interventions in a structured way. Your collaboration skills mean that you can work together with colleagues, share information, and solve problems in a constructive manner. Empathy is central in meeting residents, which means you can put yourself in their situation and provide support without taking on their emotions. At the same time, you communicate clearly with both residents and colleagues and ensure that information is conveyed and followed up so that all expectations are clear.
To ensure high quality in our operations, a language test is included in the recruitment process. Upon employment, you also need to provide a criminal background certificate from the Police.
