We at Night Patrol have the entire municipality as our workplace and conduct our work during nighttime. We operate from Söränget in the city center, Sörgården in Bredbyn, or Björkhem in Gideå. Work Duties
As an employee, your primary task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our clients. We work with a health-promoting approach with the goal of strengthening individuals' own abilities and ensuring that everyone who receives our support feels secure living in their own home.
Participation, development, and community are keywords for us, where continuous improvements create the conditions for delivering good quality. We work with welfare technology aimed at increasing security, participation, and independence for our clients.
Work duties include, among other things, personal care, assistance with household chores in clients' homes, medication management and wound care, documentation, contact person responsibilities, and social and physical activities together with our clients. We work in teams, which means that many different professional groups share the common goal of creating good quality of life for our clients.
You will currently be placed at Night Patrol Center. We also collaborate with nearby areas.
We offer you meaningful work where you have the opportunity to gain deeper knowledge in palliative care, dementia, activity-based rehabilitation approaches, and patient transfer techniques.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant or have other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We would like to see that you have advanced training in elderly care and/or dementia or have an educational focus on psychiatry. Experience working in care and health services is meritorious.
It is important that you enjoy and feel comfortable working with people, and that you are flexible and receptive to new ideas and ways of working.
The position requires sufficient knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing to, among other things, communicate with clients, perform care documentation, and obtain medication delegation.
If you have experience with night shift work, we see this as an advantage.
A valid driver's license, category B, and access to your own vehicle are required.
