We are now seeking 3 permanent positions and 3 temporary positions from September 2026 to January 2027 and September 2027, all on a full-time basis. Job Responsibilities As a team member, your primary task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our service users. We work with a health-promoting approach aimed at strengthening the individual's own abilities and ensuring that all those we support feel secure living in their own homes. Participation, development, and community are key values for us, where continuous improvements provide the basis for creating high quality. We work with welfare technology to increase security, participation, and independence for our service users. Job responsibilities include personal care, assistance with household tasks in the service user's home, medication management and wound care, documentation, coordination tasks, and social and physical activities with our service users. We work in teams, which means that many different professional groups share the common goal of creating good quality of life for our service users. You will currently be placed in the Köpmanholmen/Bjästa home care service areas. We also collaborate with neighboring areas. We offer you meaningful work where you have the opportunity to develop in-depth knowledge in palliative care, dementia, rehabilitation-oriented approaches, and patient transfer techniques. Qualifications We are looking for you if you are a nursing assistant or have other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We would appreciate it if you have further training in elderly care and/or dementia, or have a psychiatric care focus. Experience working in health and social care is a merit. It is important that you enjoy working with people and that you are flexible and responsive to new ideas and working methods. The position requires adequate knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to communicate with service users, maintain care documentation, and receive medication delegation. A valid driver's license, category B, and access to your own vehicle are required. Include a CV and cover letter with your application. We welcome language skills in Finnish and/or one of the Sámi varieties, as Örnsköldsvik municipality is part of both Finnish and Sámi administrative areas. In our municipality, several positions are classified as security-sensitive, so a security clearance may be required.
