On Gotland, there are ten specialized residential facilities at six locations where we work together to provide older adults with a safe and meaningful daily life around the clock. Roma äldreboende is located in central Gotland, approximately two miles from Visby. Here there are 50 apartments, of which 10 have a dementia focus, in a modern and comfortable environment. Your responsibilities In this role, you will work with care and service activities based on the approach Individual Needs in Focus (IBIC). Our focus is to create security and a meaningful daily life for each resident, with respect for individual needs, circumstances, and preferences. The responsibilities include, among other things, personal care, delegated healthcare activities, contact with family members, household tasks, and planning and implementing activities based on the individual's needs. The role also includes acting as a contact person, working with implementation plans, documentation, and some administrative tasks. You work in a team and have close collaboration with the unit manager, nurse, and rehabilitation staff. The position involves work according to a basic schedule with day and evening shifts, as well as work every other weekend. For the nursing assistant position in specialized residential care, the starting salary range is 29,000–34,000 kronor per month. For the residential care assistant position in specialized residential care, the starting salary range is 24,000–30,000 kronor per month. We apply individual salary setting. Final salary is determined based on education, relevant experience, competence, and responsibility in the role, as well as in accordance with applicable collective agreements. Who are you? We are primarily looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with experience working in elderly care. To be employed as a nursing assistant, you must have the right to use the protected professional title according to current regulations. If you are applying as a residential care assistant, it is an advantage to have some form of education focused on care and healthcare, such as a care worker certificate. You should have previously worked in a care profession and/or elderly care. You are comfortable working both independently and in a team, you take initiative and implement ideas in practice. As a person, you are service-oriented, structured, and confident in your professional role. You have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing, as both communication and documentation take place in Swedish. You are responsive, adapt your communication to the recipient, and have a strong ability to empathize. With us, the residents' needs are always at the center.
