In the heart of Visby, our operations are located – residential care facility at Fältgatan 77 and dementia care facility at Fältgatan 75. Here, nursing assistants, residential care assistants, and nurses work together to provide safe and personalized care around the clock, with a physician on-site once a week. The work team has broad experience and close collaboration.
Fältgatan 77 has 27 apartments distributed across three floors, with one unit adapted for individuals with dementia. Fältgatan 75 has three floors with eight apartments per floor and is entirely focused on dementia care.
Your primary placement will be at Fältgatan 77. At the same time, we work closely between the two facilities, which means that if needed, you may also work at Fältgatan 75, for example during scheduled shifts. This provides a varied workday and the opportunity to contribute to both operations.
We are now seeking two temporary staff members for our operations.
One position is a temporary contract from September 1, 2026, or by agreement, through September 1, 2027, with the possibility of extension.
The other position is a temporary contract from September 1, 2026, or by agreement, through April 30, 2027, also with the possibility of extension.
Your Work Tasks
As a nursing assistant/residential care assistant, you will, among other things:
- Perform standard care tasks such as personal hygiene assistance, household management, medication administration, and other delegated health and medical services, with a focus on safety and continuity
- Contribute to a meaningful and personalized daily life through companionship, activities, and social interaction
- Work with a calm and respectful approach based on each person's cognitive ability and current condition
- Participate in and provide palliative care and support to both residents and family members during end-of-life care
- Work according to IBIC principles and person-centered care with focus on the individual's needs, routines, and life history
- Serve as a contact person, including establishing and following up on care plans
- Document, maintain contact with family members, and handle certain administrative tasks
- Collaborate with the unit manager, nurse, and rehabilitation staff to provide safe care
- Participate in developing work methods and procedures in the operation
- Be flexible and, if needed, support other units
- Work days, evenings, and alternate weekends
Salary
For the position of nursing assistant in residential care, the entry salary range is 29,000–34,000 kronor per month. For the position of residential care assistant in residential care, the entry salary range is 24,000–30,000 kronor per month.
We apply individual salary setting. Final salary is determined based on education, relevant experience, competence, and responsibility in the role, as well as in accordance with applicable collective agreements.
Who Are You?
To be employed as a nursing assistant, you must have the right to use the protected professional title according to current regulations.
For the position of residential care assistant, no formal education is required, but experience working in healthcare and elderly care is meriting.
In accordance with the new language requirement, you need to have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing to ensure safe care, good and correct documentation.
As a person, you have personal maturity and a professional approach in your work. You are confident and have good interpersonal skills with both residents and family members.
We see that you are proactive, have good collaboration skills, and are flexible in your work approach. You are also stable and have the ability to handle different situations in a calm and responsible manner.
