We are now seeking an engaged employee for a temporary position at Björkelid Care and Residential Home in Rävlanda, starting by agreement and ending at the end of January. The position includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. Björkelid offers a calm and nature-close work environment where we have easy access to both forest and lake. First and foremost, we are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant, and secondly, we are looking for someone who is not yet trained but is open to doing so and is otherwise suited for work in healthcare. Your Assignment As a nursing assistant with us, you provide our users with secure, dignified, and person-centered care. You assist in daily life based on individual needs and care plans, with a focus on participation, independence, and quality of life. The work includes, among other things, personal care, social interaction, activities, meal support, service provisions, and delegated health and medical care tasks. You are also responsible for social documentation and maintain contact with relatives. You work closely with colleagues in a team and actively contribute to good cooperation, professional conduct, and a safe environment for both users and employees. The role requires responsibility, high integrity, and a quality-conscious approach. Team Planning: How It Works With Us Härryda Municipality works to create stable operations with increased basic staffing. This means we apply team planning, where you have a home unit but can also work shifts at other units as needed. The purpose is to ensure continuity and safe care for the users, while giving you the opportunity for variety, exchange of experience, and professional development. Requirements To be relevant for the position, you need to: Be trained as a nursing assistant Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Have good digital skills and experience with social documentation Ability to take and follow delegated healthcare tasks Merits It is advantageous if you have: Experience working in care and residential homes Further training in dementia, psychiatry, or welfare technology Experience with quality and value-based work Experience with systems such as Treserva, TES, and BPSD registry Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is Empathetic and takes responsibility.
