Your Role As a nursing assistant at Västergården, you meet people with cognitive illness in their daily lives. You are present in the everyday routine, provide support where needed, and encourage residents to use their abilities as much as possible. Our colleagues care deeply, and we work structurally with residents and their families to provide each person with tailored support. Your responsibilities will include: Creating structure in daily life, with meals, rest, and community Participating in social activities such as games, exercise, and conversations Providing support with personal care Documenting information that needs to be followed up on Collaborating with colleagues, licensed staff, and family members This position is a long-term temporary role with the possibility of permanent employment. Who We Are Looking For We seek a nursing assistant who wants to work closely with people with cognitive illness. You are secure and stable in your approach to care, attentive to residents' needs, and can also provide clarity when needed. You enjoy collaboration and believe it is important that residents are involved in their daily lives. Qualifications Nursing assistant certification Experience in care work Experience working with people with cognitive illness Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Basic computer skills and experience with digital documentation Previous experience from care and residential facilities is advantageous Bräcke Care and Residential Facility Västergården Västergården in Gothenburg is a residential facility for people under 65 years old with cognitive illness.
