Working as a nursing assistant in home care means having the opportunity every day to make a real difference for people who want to live a safe and dignified life in their own home. The role also includes administrative tasks and documentation that contribute to continuity and security for both users and colleagues. You will be based in Vrigstad and become part of an experienced and thoughtful work group. The position is a temporary contract starting August 31, 2026 through December 31, 2026. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant, but you who work as a care assistant are also welcome to apply for the position. Experience from elderly care, particularly home care, is a merit. You thrive in a daily routine characterized by pace, variation, and change, and you have an easy way of meeting different people with warmth, respect, and security. You are flexible and use your social competence in a secure way when meeting users, family members, and colleagues. With us you work both together and independently, and we value that you feel comfortable in both work styles. In home care you meet users in their own homes – an environment that requires attentiveness, respect, and a secure approach. In order for you to be able to work with us, you need to be able to give and receive information in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You also need to be accustomed to using a computer and mobile phone at work as documentation and communication are important parts of daily operations. Since many of our users live in rural areas, you must be able to drive the municipality's cars on the job; therefore a category B driver's license is required. Permanent employees in Sävsjö Municipality are assigned to their regular work location in case of war measures.
