About Us Welcome to Närhälsan Staffing Unit, our mission is to provide staff coverage for illness and other absences, and to prioritize our services based on Närhälsan's needs at approximately 40 primary care centers and child health centers in Greater Gothenburg. Our team includes nurses, district nurses, pediatric nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. To foster community within the staffing unit, we meet regularly for joint workplace meetings and development days. The work includes independent laboratory work with sample collection and testing, assisting doctors with wound care and minor procedures, and performing common examinations such as blood pressure measurement and EKG testing. Work areas such as wound dressing changes, suture removal, and managing your own patient clinic may also be included. You will work both independently and as part of a team with other staff categories at the clinic. Student supervision may also occur. We use the Asynja Visph medical record system. About You You have documented training as a nursing assistant. You have previous experience working at a primary care center and with venous blood sampling. It is an advantage if you have previous experience with wound dressing changes, suture removal, blood pressure measurement, and managing your own nursing assistant clinic. It is also an advantage if you have experience working in the Asynja Visph medical record system. In this work you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe you enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. The workload varies and can be high at times, so it is important that you have a good ability to prioritize your tasks, be flexible, and communicate well in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Other Information This position is a 6-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis. As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant within healthcare and social services.
