About Us Närhälsan Ekmanska Health Center is a well-established unit located in a pleasant, geographically advantageous setting in the Örgryte district near central Gothenburg. We have approximately 10,000 registered residents of various ages and employ just over 30 staff members. We offer standard health center services and provide maternal health (BVC), asthma/COPD clinic, diabetes clinic, hypertension clinic, dermatology clinic, menopause clinic, osteoporosis clinic, and geriatric clinic, as well as a psychosocial/rehabilitation team consisting of psychologists, rehabilitation coordinator, physicians, and care coordinators for individuals with mental health concerns. Närhälsan has invested heavily in digital-physical work methods, and in October 2023, Närhälsan opened its first digital-physical health center in Kallebäck. Ekmanska and Kallebäck work closely together under a shared operations manager. We strive for good communication across professional boundaries and aim to leverage the extensive expertise of each team member. About the Role Your responsibilities at the health center are varied with patients at the center. The work includes independent laboratory work with blood draws and follow-ups, assisting physicians with wound care and minor procedures, and performing common examinations such as blood pressure measurements and EKG tests. Your responsibilities may also include wound dressing changes, suture removal, and managing your own patient clinic. You will work both independently and as part of a team with other staff members at the health center. Supply ordering and preparing examination rooms are part of daily work. We use the Asynja Visph patient record system. About You You have documented training as a nursing assistant. You have previous experience working at a health center and performing venous blood draws. It is a merit if you have previous experience with wound dressing changes, suture removal, blood pressure measurements, and managing your own nursing assistant clinic. You will meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We believe you will thrive with teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. The workload varies and can be high at times, making it important that you have good prioritization skills and flexibility. Other Information Interviews are held on a rolling basis. As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant became a protected professional title in Sweden. This means you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant in healthcare and care services.
