About Villa Orrholmen The facility is located close to Karlstad city center and is surrounded by Lake Vänern. We have a total of 60 apartments distributed over three floors. Two floors have a total of 40 beds for residents with dementia and one floor has 20 beds with a somatic focus. We are seeking a nursing assistant for our somatic unit. We are a dementia-certified residential facility, which means that everyone working here is trained in dementia care and resident interactions through Vardaga's Dementia Academy. We use needs-based scheduling. This means that as an employee, you have the opportunity to influence your own working hours based on needs and preferences. We plan schedules five weeks at a time. We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 years visits us on weekends and holidays. As a nursing assistant, you are extremely important! Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and understand what they need. At the same time, you learn a great deal about care, aging, and how to interact with people. You work closest to the residents and thus have a key role in the team with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. You also participate in health care meetings and team meetings and write social documentation. Your experience and knowledge We would like you to be a trained nursing assistant with a few years of experience in elderly care. Good computer skills and documentation experience are also merits. Strong knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing.
