We are now seeking two nursing assistants for Health Center Mora for one-year temporary positions. We are now seeking two nursing assistants for Health Center Mora for two one-year full-time temporary positions due to parental leave and studies. Work Tasks As a nursing assistant with us, you'll have varied and stimulating work where no two days are the same. Health Center Mora operates on-call services for Northern and Western Dalarna on weekends and public holidays, so the position includes weekend work approximately every 8 weeks. Your work tasks may include: Blood sampling and sample handling ECG examinations Blood pressure measurements Spirometry Dressing changes Assisting with examinations and minor procedures Telephone contact and work in 1177's e-services Patient booking and waiting list management Material handling, restocking, and other practical tasks Of course, you'll receive thorough introduction working alongside experienced colleagues. Qualifications Requirements: We are seeking someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and has completed the Care and Nursing program or the vocational package Care and Nursing through adult education. This means you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant in health and care. You can apply for the certificate starting July 1, 2023. If you don't have a certificate, you can continue working in health and care but under a different title than nursing assistant. For those offered a position with us in Region Dalarna after July 1, the title in your employment contract will be Care Assistant until you can show your certificate. If you had a permanent position with the title nursing assistant when the new rules took effect on July 1, 2023, you can continue using the nursing assistant title for 10 years. You can retain the title even if you change workplaces/employers after July 1. After that, you'll need a certificate for the protected job title to use the nursing assistant title.
