WHAT DOES YOUR ASSIGNMENT AS A NURSING ASSISTANT ENTAIL?
Your work tasks include personal care, daily chores, medication management and various areas of responsibility. You work actively with contact management, implementation plans and social documentation where good relationships and a salutogenic approach are in focus.
We work with BPSD (Behavioral Psychological Symptoms in Dementia) which is an approach to alleviate/reduce behavioral symptoms in dementia. We have activities, entertainment, walks etc. with our residents during the day. Welcome to a workplace with an open and welcoming culture!
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You who are applying are/have:
educated nursing assistant
experience in social care, health and medical services for the elderly and experience working with people with dementia diagnosis
good data and documentation skills
good at expressing yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing
active with our residents and enjoy working at a fast pace
It is meriting if you are/have:
experience in dementia care
experience in end-of-life care
specialist nursing assistant education in dementia or palliative care
You are an educated nursing assistant with a genuine interest in people and care. As a person you are curious and open to learning more. You have an ability to read people, adapt your behavior and act professionally in every situation. Creating positive meetings for both users and relatives comes naturally to you.
You take own initiative and gladly bring new ideas and suggestions. If your colleagues were to describe you, they would say that others feel secure with you and that you inspire confidence. You care about contributing to a positive atmosphere in your work team and together create a good work environment.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT
Employment form: Permanent, probation may be applied
Scope: Full-time, we work daytime, evening and every other weekend
