About the position
Stortorp Elderly Care Home in Trångsund is located in a scenic park area with beautiful views over Lake Drevviken. Here we offer a calm and pleasant environment where our primary focus is to create a safe, meaningful, and dignified everyday life for our residents.
The home consists of two units: Nygården with 47 apartments, of which 29 spaces are adapted for people with dementia, and Ekgården with 40 apartments for people with dementia.
We are a Star-marked operation, which means we work systematically and knowledge-based within dementia care. We continuously develop our working methods and strive for high quality, professional conduct, and person-centered care.
We are looking for you who want to make a real difference in people's daily lives. As a nursing assistant with us, you work in a person-centered manner based on each individual's needs, wishes, and conditions. You plan, implement, and document care and support services with a focus on seeing the person behind the illness.
The work is based on the Social Services Act and also includes health and medical services according to the Health and Medical Services Act following delegation from a nurse. Documentation is done in accordance with current legislation and is a natural part of daily work.
We work with a digital-first approach, where welfare technology is a natural part of care. Through, for example, safety sensors and digital locks, we can work more preventively, create increased security, and provide our residents with more individually tailored care.

The position is a permanent employment. Part-time 75%. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and every other weekend.

Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and have experience working with people with dementia. Knowledge of BPSD (behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia) and training in the dementia field are merits.
You work in a person-centered manner based on the values of elderly care, where each person's dignity, self-determination, and integrity are at the center.
The work is varied and sometimes physically demanding. Therefore, you need to have good work capacity, be able to prioritize, and maintain calm even when the pace is high.
