We are now seeking a nursing assistant for our small specialist medical clinic specializing in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) in Åkersberga, northeast of Stockholm. With us, you will work in a personal and small-scale operation together with a specialist physician and an audiologist. As a nursing assistant with us, you have a central role and are often the first person the patient meets – both in person and by phone. You are, in short, the hub of the clinic. ABOUT THE POSITION Employment type: Permanent Scope: Full-time, 40 hours/week distributed Monday–Thursday (can be adjusted) Start date: As soon as possible, by agreement Location: Åkersberga WORK TASKS The position involves a combination of care and administrative tasks, including: Receive patients, register arrivals and handle patient fees Handle bookings, monitor incoming referrals and call patients Maintain ongoing patient contact both by phone and via 1177 Prepare patients for and assist with various procedures Treat positional vertigo Change wound dressings Arrange patient transportation, interpreters and, if necessary, liaise with other clinics Order and stock consumable materials Dish washing, sterilization of equipment and cleaning of clinic rooms This is not a complete list, but gives an overview of the breadth of work tasks and the responsibility the role entails. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone who: Has nursing assistant training Has experience working in a clinic setting (ENT experience is a strong merit) Is familiar with working in the TakeCare medical records system PERSONAL QUALITIES To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you are: Self-directed after introduction Empathetic and confident in patient interactions with good social skills Comfortable working in a small organization Flexible with the ability to prioritize and switch between tasks throughout the day WE OFFER Varied work with significant personal responsibility A small and personal workplace with close collaboration Daytime work Monday–Thursday with room for personal adjustment Salary: According to individual agreement.
