Högalidshemmet is a senior residential facility with a total of 26 apartments, divided into two units with somatic focus. The remaining three units house short-term and respite care. Högalidshemmet is located in Hässleholm, approximately a 10-minute walk from the station, and has excellent bus connections. Here's what we offer you! As a nursing assistant in residential care, you work together with your colleagues to provide individualized care. We support our residents with personal care, daily living rehabilitation, and social activities to create meaningful days. You follow basic hygiene procedures, wear work clothes, and treat residents, colleagues, family members, and others with respect and professionalism. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing, and toileting, as well as mealtime support - Working with person-centered care, adapting support to each individual's unique needs and preferences - Administering medication, which requires delegation from licensed personnel - Supporting daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and minor shopping in the local area - Participating in social activities, providing support and guidance - Creating and following care plans to ensure quality and safe care - Collaborating with colleagues, unit managers, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, and coordinating with family members - Following workplace routines and guidelines - Serving as primary contact or designated care coordinator, planning how services will be delivered together with the individual Hässleholm Municipality wants to utilize your full competence and offers full-time employment with the possibility to choose your work hours. You are a trained nursing assistant. You have good computer skills and fluent Swedish (reading, speaking, and writing). We appreciate experience in care work, but it is not required.
