We are now seeking a nursing assistant for our X-ray Department in Ystad. The Diagnostics Service Area (VO) consists of four units: X-ray Ystad, X-ray Kristianstad, X-ray Hässleholm, Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine Kristianstad. The service area employs a total of approximately 250 staff members. Our operations in Ystad comprise approximately 70 people. The unit is equipped with modern, high-tech digital equipment. We have two CT scanners, two MRI machines (1.5 T), an interventional lab, two conventional X-ray units, and two ultrasound rooms. We also have a sonographer on staff. For administration, we work with the X-ray journal system SECTRA IDS7. The unit operates around the clock with on-call night duties and performs approximately 52,000 examinations per year. 1 position(s). RESPONSIBILITIES This is a varied role that includes typical tasks at an X-ray department, working primarily in ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and reception. Your responsibilities will include patient reception, administrative tasks, scheduling, and assisting with ultrasound and fluoroscopy examinations. As a nursing assistant with us, you play an important role in ensuring that all work around the patient runs smoothly. You do this by being helpful in a listening and accommodating manner, ensuring that your team colleagues have the best possible conditions to help the patient. Providing good service to doctors and radiologic technologists based on their specific needs is therefore a large part of the work. Since all work is conducted digitally, you will work with the computer as your main tool every day. Therefore, you need to be comfortable and experienced with this. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied according to the previous or current program structure. Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, are required. It is a merit if you have experience with reception work and/or have previously worked in diagnostics. As a person, we see that you are a team player who understands the importance of good cooperation for the patient's benefit. In this role, you will work closely with various professions such as radiologic technologists, radiologists, and medical secretaries.
