Ref: 20261691 We are now seeking a nursing assistant for respite care/short-term services in the City of Malmö. Working in the resource group means you are available to work at our 3 short-term facilities: Mathildenborg, Söderkulla, KRA, as well as our respite care services. Respite care means providing relief to families by having service users stay at the respite care facility for 1 or 2 weeks and remain at home for 3 or 4 weeks. At the short-term unit, individuals temporarily needing care or rehabilitation following illness or injury reside. Both of these services place high demands on flexibility since service users change daily. As a nursing assistant in the resource group, you work on a fixed night shift schedule. You will work across all the facilities within the unit. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant in the resource group, you work based on a rehabilitative approach. Your work includes personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, social activities, and medical interventions performed under the delegation of a registered nurse. Your work also includes documenting events regarding residents according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Care Act. You actively participate in planning, team, and quality work. You are also flexible and able to reprioritize and handle rapid changes. Every day matters most to us and our service users, and therefore we focus together on adding a golden edge to everyday life. Qualifications Requirements for the position: Trained nursing assistant with approved grades At least two years of experience in care work Good computer skills Communicates fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Meritorious for the position: Experience working with individuals with permanent disabilities Experience in dementia and/or psychiatry Experience working in respite care/short-term services Experience with night work As a nursing assistant with us, you have strong commitment to working with people and good collaboration skills.
