Are you a nursing assistant and want to work in an operation where movement, rehabilitation, and teamwork are at the center? Then this position might be for you!
At the Rehabilitation Center in Lindesberg, we work to help people regain and maintain their functional capacity, health, and participation in daily life. Here you will meet patients with different needs, from people living with disabilities to patients who need rehabilitation after stroke, heart disease, or other acute illness.
With us, you will become part of a committed team where nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists work closely together. We currently have five nursing assistants who form an important part of the operation. We offer a positive and supportive work environment where we help each other, share knowledge, and develop together.
Work Tasks
As a nursing assistant with us, you have varied work with a strong patient focus. Together with other nursing assistants, you are responsible for our pool activities, including leading movement exercises to music in groups. You work both independently and in close collaboration with physiotherapists and occupational therapists. In this role you will meet patients across several of the operation's areas:
Mobile Stroke Team
Day Rehabilitation
Heart Rehabilitation
Acute Inpatient Care
This position suits you if you thrive with variety, enjoy working with people, and see the value of rehabilitation as an important part of the care chain.
Qualifications
We welcome you who are trained as a nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on acute care according to the previous program structure, or are trained as a nursing assistant within the current program structure. To assess employability, grades from your care education and proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding protected professional title must be attached to your application.
We place great emphasis on personality and qualities such as cooperation, teamwork, initiative and responsibility, and flexibility. It is important to us that you have a natural ability to create good interactions both with patients and colleagues in the team. Experience in leading group training or other group activities is a merit. As the area of operation is new, routines and forms of collaboration are continuing to change, and you should be comfortable being part of development and change work.

Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis.
The application should contain a CV, cover letter, and grades from completed care courses, as well as any proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding protected professional title. Other certificates, grades, diplomas, etc., should be provided at a possible interview.
