Come work with us! We are now recruiting a nursing assistant for our Psychiatric Emergency Department at Northern Stockholm Psychiatry (NSP). We are located in the S:t Görans hospital area and are the only psychiatric emergency department in Stockholm County. Our mission is to provide highly specialized psychiatric care for all of Stockholm County. We provide emergency care 24/7. The department handles approximately 21,500 visits per year. Duties As a nursing assistant at the psychiatric emergency department, you will work with assessments, patient interviews, contact with family members, and documentation in TakeCare. The work also includes collaboration with relevant professions in the department as well as with care partners and other stakeholders such as police, correctional services, care facilities, etc. Work in psychiatry is continuously evolving, and NSP is constantly striving for modern and innovative approaches. Therefore, participation in the department's quality and development work is a given for our employees. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with certification from the National Board of Health and Welfare. You have experience and interest in psychiatric care. You have good knowledge and familiarity with independent documentation in TakeCare. To be suitable for the position, you must be flexible with a strong ability to collaborate, prioritize, and document. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Terms Permanent employment, full-time. Shift work day/evening/weekend on a rotating schedule. As a nursing assistant at the psychiatric emergency department, you will work every other weekend and approximately 50% evening shifts. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County's healthcare area: - Background checks are applied prior to employment decision according to SLSO's general guidelines for background checks in recruitment. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo an initial employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - In addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required.
