As a nursing assistant in the pool team for care of people with disabilities (OF), you work throughout the municipality in various activities, including personal assistance and support teams. Each employee has approximately 10-15 different workplaces to serve. The pool group as a whole meets regularly. An extra pool allowance and travel compensation between home and workplaces are provided. Travel compensation applies from Oskarshamn Municipality's border if you live in another municipality. We work according to annual working hours, which gives you the opportunity to influence your work days according to established guidelines and includes work hours for day, evening, weekends, and on-call overnight shifts. We welcome your application! 2 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a member of the OF Pool Team, you work in all OF activities. During a work shift you may work in several different activities as needs dictate. In the support team, you work, among other things, in people's homes to provide relief to families, as well as as a companion to various people within the target group. In personal assistance, you work in the person's home. The work involves providing support, service, and care to people based on an individually designed implementation plan. You assist with care, recreational activities, meal preparation, and housework. We work in accordance with the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), the Social Services Act (SoL), and health and medical services in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). You meet different people who need your commitment, flexibility, and resourcefulness to thrive in the company of others. You are invited to be part of other people's lives, while being able to influence your own work to some extent. You get to provide others with quality of life, good and close care, and security, and you get the opportunity to develop as a person through humble encounters with others. We work, among other things, with low-affective approaches, clarifying pedagogy, and sign support. Heavy lifting and solo work occur. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or has another background that the employer considers equivalent. It is meritorious if you are a trained specialist nursing assistant and have work experience with people within all OF's service areas, including personal assistance and support teams. You need to have good knowledge of LSS legislation. The work places high demands on personal responsibility, flexibility regarding working hours and initiative, and that you have a professional appearance. As a person, you are confident in yourself and your professional role, are organized, quality-conscious, creative, and follow procedures. Documentation is an important part of our work, so you need to be proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing and have good computer skills. B-driver's license and access to your own car are required. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Employment type: Permanent employment.
