About Polhemsgården Polhemsgården in Solna consists of 80 apartments with a dementia focus, of which five places are short-term and respite care places. Polhemsgården has nature and garden as its profile. Time outdoors and activities in nature, parks and gardens are natural parts of our daily life. We work with different nature themes throughout the year. We have nurses on duty 24/7, year-round. We are a dementia-certified residential facility, which means that everyone working here has been trained in dementia care and interaction through Silvia hemmet. We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the quality of life for our residents. You have a team manager who spends much of their time working close to you in the facility. Becoming a team manager can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant. As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important! Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing.
