Are you a dedicated nursing assistant driven by a desire to create quality of life and make a difference for people? Then you could be our new colleague!
Who are we?
Plåtslagaregatan 8 is a specialized residential facility with 60 apartments, of which 10 are dedicated to dementia care. We are now seeking three new full-time employees for permanent positions.
The operation consists of approximately 50 employees and is staffed 24 hours a day. We work with a person-centered approach where we base our care on the individual's needs.
The unit is located in Hageby with access to both nature and urban environments with good transportation connections. We work in teams where you collaborate with your colleagues and other staff to achieve our common goals.
Your responsibilities
As a nursing assistant, you work to provide residents with good and safe care in their home by paying attention to and meeting their physical, psychological, and social needs. Administrative work is an important part of the role, including documentation. You will also handle medication delegation and take responsibility for your tasks, while monitoring changes in residents' conditions and seeking help when needed.
You work according to established operational goals and are expected to help develop the operation by identifying errors and shortcomings, conducting risk assessments, and making suggestions for improvements aligned with the unit's goals.
You collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, your manager, and licensed staff.
Who are you?
We are seeking a trained nursing assistant according to the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements.
We view it positively if you have experience working in healthcare and social services, as well as experience in service-oriented roles.
We are looking for someone with genuine commitment to people and who puts the individual's needs at the center. You work with a person-centered approach and always strive to provide good treatment and high-quality care.
You are flexible and adapt easily when circumstances or tasks change. You see changes as a natural part of work and contribute with a positive and solution-focused approach.
You enjoy working with others and recognize the value of good collaboration. By sharing your knowledge and experience, you contribute to a positive work environment and a well-functioning team.
You have sound judgment and can make well-considered assessments in various situations. You make decisions based on the individual's needs, the operation's guidelines, and available information, and you act confidently and professionally even when situations require quick decisions.
You have strong communication skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
We welcome your application!
