Nursing Assistant at Eastern Home Care Services

We are looking for a dedicated employee for home care services in Hudiksvall – Home Care Eastern. Work Tasks Your work will mainly involve personal care in ordinary housing. Personal hygiene, mobility assistance, help with meals, shopping and household chores are some of your tasks, but you are also responsible for documenting according to current procedures and responding to emergency alarms. In your work, you will be the primary care contact for service users, which includes, among other things, creating implementation plans. You should have an interest in rehabilitation work as our goal is to support service users to live as independently as possible. In your work, you will collaborate closely with professionals such as nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers. Home care in the municipality continuously works on improvements to create a safer everyday life for our service users, and we are therefore strengthening the municipality's home care teams with more nursing assistants to ensure that all service users can be offered a primary care contact. With this change, we wish to raise the quality of our work and create a safer everyday life for service users and staff. You will work days, evenings, and weekends. Resource shifts may occur and you need to be flexible and prepared for possible transfers to other units if needed. As a new employee, you will first receive a good introduction. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. It is an advantage if you have experience in elderly care generally and home care specifically. You will use a computer, smartphone, and car in your work, so digital proficiency is desirable. A valid driver's license (category B) is required. Your tasks include communicating with various parties verbally and in writing, so you need to have a good command of the Swedish language. As a person, you are: self-driven and responsible, responsive to needs, attentive to areas for improvement, have good teamwork skills, and provide good and professional treatment. Home care is a constantly changing operation, so you need to be flexible, have the ability to work under stress, and be solution-oriented. You act in accordance with decisions, operational plans, goals, policies, and guidelines. We believe you are suitable for the work if you have an interest, willingness, and ability to help others, but also can see the bigger picture and consider the larger perspective.
