The Oncology Clinic and Day Care at Gävle Hospital is part of a regional assignment that encompasses advanced medical treatment for cancer patients in Gästrikland, Hälsingland, and northern Uppland. We offer, among other things, chemotherapy, antibody therapy, hormonal therapy, and blood transfusions. We are part of the Oncology Operations Area, which also includes radiotherapy, inpatient ward, and palliative care team. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nursing assistant with us, you contribute to a positive care experience by providing support in the daily care of patients. This means ensuring that patients feel safe, seen, and well cared for during their stay with us, as well as helping to maintain a pleasant and well-functioning environment. You work closely with other healthcare staff and have a service-oriented approach with a focus on the patient's needs and well-being. With a service-oriented work style, you take initiative, see what needs to be done, and flexibly switch between details and the bigger picture so that care runs smoothly. For this role, you should be • a trained nursing assistant. It is an asset if you have experience in oncology care. A trial employment may be applied.
