We are now seeking a nursing assistant for our night patrol. As a nursing assistant on the night patrol, you have an important role in creating security and providing good care to our service users during evenings and nights. Job Description As a nursing assistant on the night patrol, you work with personal care and health care support in the service user's home. You base your work on each service user's individual needs and approved services, and work according to their care plan. The work includes, among other things, assistance with personal hygiene, other care interventions, and transfers, as well as supervision of service users. You are also responsible for answering and managing incoming safety alarms and perform medication handling on delegation from a nurse. The work may also include self-care support, for example assistance with Fragmin and insulin injections. Documentation according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) is an important part of the work. You use a mobile phone as a work tool for planning, attestation, and documentation. You drive the home care service vehicle between different service users and therefore need to be comfortable being out and moving between different addresses during your shifts. The work involves working independently and partly alone during evenings and nights. At the same time, you are in close contact with colleagues and other professional groups and collaborate with them when the situation requires it. You also need to be flexible as you may be called upon to work in other departments within the municipality when needed. The position involves some physically demanding work, including transfers and considerable movement during shifts. Requirement Profile Requirements: Trained nursing assistant Class B driver's license Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Computer and IT skills to manage alarms, read e-mail, and use digital work tools. As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. You are self-driven and take responsibility for your work tasks, which is particularly important since much of the work is done independently during evenings and nights. You are flexible and adapt easily when circumstances change. You have good collaboration skills and communicate in an attentive and professional manner with both service users, colleagues, and other professional groups. We also see that you are service-oriented, calm, and attentive, and have a genuine desire to help others.
