We are seeking an engaged and responsible nursing assistant for our LSS group home focused on people aged 55 and older. With us, you work person-centered with a focus on safety, participation, self-determination, and good quality of life. As a nursing assistant, you provide support, service, and care based on the individual's needs, wishes, and implementation plan. You work to strengthen the individual's independence and create a meaningful everyday life. Your work includes medication management according to delegation as well as documentation in accordance with LSS, the Social Services Act, and the facility's procedures. You collaborate with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, family members, and other professionals to ensure good and cohesive care and support. You plan and carry out activities that promote health, participation, and social community, and you actively participate in the facility's quality and development work. In all tasks, you work from a professional, person-centered, and respectful approach where the individual's self-determination, integrity, and individual needs are in focus. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has experience working within LSS, functional support, or elderly care. You have good ability to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing, good computer skills, and experience with social documentation, as well as a B-category driver's license. Merits: It is a merit if you have experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, autism, and challenging behavior. We would also like to see that you have experience with aging within LSS and working with people aged 55 and older. Knowledge of dementia diseases and a person-centered approach in accordance with national guidelines is also a merit. Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have experience with social documentation and work with implementation plans, as well as good knowledge of low-arousal approaches, clarifying pedagogy, and alternative and augmentative communication. Experience with delegated health and medical care services is also a merit. Personal qualities: We are looking for someone who is confident, calm, and solution-focused with personal maturity.
