About Kvibergsgatan Kvibergsgatan is located in Byttorp. Here you work in a pleasant area with both villas, shops, and apartment buildings in the neighborhood. From Byttorp you can quickly and easily reach the city center via Alingsåsvägen. You are close to the small lake Kolbränningen and a short illuminated ski trail. Care and residential facility Kvibergsgatan 17 has seven departments. Four departments offer housing for people with dementia and have a total of 48 places. Three departments offer housing for people with somatic illness and have a total of 38 places. We are a dementia-certified facility, which means that everyone working here is trained in dementia and dementia care approaches through Vardaga's Dementia Academy. We have a partnership with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visit us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to add a special touch to the lives of our residents. You have a group manager who spends most of their time working close to you in the operations. Becoming a group manager can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant. Here we work with animals in care and regularly have visits from therapy dogs. We constantly work to come up with new, exciting activities for our residents. For example, we have introduced VR technology that makes it possible to experience different trips, adventures, or games via VR glasses. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and their habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to meet people. You work closest to the residents and thus have a key role in the team with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation. Your Experience and Knowledge We would like to see that you are a trained nursing assistant and have worked for a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also merits. Good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing.
