At the Short-Term Care Unit, you will have diverse work in a team with strong expertise in a mission where we make a difference together. The Short-Term Care Unit serves people with short-term needs based on authority decisions with clear goals tailored to each individual's unique situation. The target group is highly varied – each person at the Short-Term Care Unit has their own challenges. Work as a nursing assistant is characterized by responsibility, collaboration, and a commitment to creating the best possible interactions. The pace is often high, and the people we serve often have significant and complex needs. At the Short-Term Care Unit, we work together in person-centered team collaboration – care staff, licensed personnel, and the unit manager. The Short-Term Care Unit is located at Ängsviken special housing facility, situated by the harbor in central Henån. Your Tasks As a nursing assistant, you will have the opportunity to use and develop all aspects of your professional role. We provide care and support through collaboration, where the individual's influence and participation are in focus. We help and support the people we serve based on their individual needs – tasks include everything related to their daily living so they can live as independently as possible. Tasks also include contact with family members, participation in care planning, and some administrative work. Delegated healthcare tasks are an important part of the work. Documentation is done in Lifecare, where you are responsible for, among other things, creating implementation plans. You will also work in SAMSA, as we use SAMSA to ensure quality in our operations. About You We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and can present the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate for protected professional title. Previous experience in care work with delegated healthcare tasks is a requirement. You will be part of a team where your collaboration skills are as important as your ability to work independently. You are a person who: - shows flexibility by adapting to changing circumstances in daily work - demonstrates person-centered care, regardless of the individual's needs - takes responsibility for both your own and the team's tasks - is solution-focused and takes initiative - collaborates easily and sees contributing to a good work environment as a given - understands how our approach creates security - sees opportunities in change Since a large part of your tasks involves communication and documentation, strong knowledge of the Swedish language is required, both spoken and written. You also need good computer skills and experience with administrative work.
