Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division Close Care together with the Ambulance Service, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Primary care is organized in 4 care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under close care. Each care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice service, youth clinic, and close care ward Näva, all of which are grant-financed.

DUTIES
As a nursing assistant with us, you work daytime and weekdays. You are part of a team of nursing assistants but also work closely with our doctors and district nurses with the patient's best interests in focus. The work tasks are varied, and you have great opportunities to use your own expertise while also developing and learning new things.
As a nursing assistant in the team, you work a rotating schedule for various tasks. This includes staffing our laboratory, where you also have responsibility for routine equipment checks, as well as specimen collection and patient care. Through your own clinic, you meet patients for ECG, blood pressure measurements, wound dressing changes, etc. You also participate in our emergency team on a rotating schedule, where you work closely with doctors and district nurses to care for more acutely ill patients of the day.
Part of the position involves staffing the reception at the health center, also on a rotating schedule. This gives you good insight into patient care and you are often the first and last person patients meet during their visit. We value a high service spirit and good patient interaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educated nursing assistant; experience with a focus on healthcare as well as experience from working at a health center is meritorious.
