Nursing Assistant for ICU/HIA in Gällivare

The anesthesia/operating room/intensive care unit department is part of the Division of Operative Care and Diagnostics, which consists of two units in the region: Sunderby Hospital and Gällivare Hospital. The ICU in Gällivare includes both intensive care and cardiac intensive care as well as post-op. Our four cornerstones are communication, respect, quality, and patient care. What we're looking for We're seeking a trained nursing assistant with strong Swedish language skills. It is a merit if you have training in acute care and experience in intensive acute care or another care unit. We place great importance on personal qualities. As a person, you are self-directed and take responsibility for your work while having good collaboration skills and understanding the value of working with others. You are stable and calm in pressured situations and flexible, adapting to changed circumstances. What you'll work with At our ICU/HIA/post-op, the work is varied and educational, encompassing both patient care and medical technology. In intensive care, we work with acute care of patients with serious illness or injury. We care for post-operative patients, trauma patients, and patients with failing vital functions. You work closely with other professionals who together form a team with the patient and their family as the focus. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts with start date by agreement. Selection and interviews take place on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
