The Infectious Disease operations conduct activities in both Malmö and Lund. The operations have two inpatient wards in Malmö and one inpatient ward in Lund as well as outpatient clinics in both locations. At Infectious Disease Department 3 in Malmö, we have 25 inpatient beds. We value good patient care and work environment with excellent collaboration among all parties on the ward—patients, relatives, and staff alike. We care for, investigate, and treat patients with many different types of infectious diseases. Examples include sepsis, pneumonia, endocarditis, and tuberculosis. The department also receives patients who have been hospitalized abroad and require continued inpatient care after returning to Sweden. Most of our patients are admitted acutely. We are now seeking a nursing assistant who wants to be part of our team! 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a nursing assistant at Infectious Disease Department 3, you work in a team together with, among others, registered nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and physicians. Together with the team, you are responsible for providing the basic and specialized care that patients require. You also perform wound care, vital sign monitoring, specimen collection, and assist with various examinations and testing. QUALIFICATIONS We seek someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and meets the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current program structure. Proficient Swedish language skills in both speech and writing are required. We prefer that you have at least one year of experience in the profession. If you have worked as a nursing assistant in inpatient care, we consider that an asset. As a person, you value and promote good collaboration and respectful treatment. You demonstrate good service orientation and care for others, and are accustomed to working independently and taking initiative. Additionally, you have the ability to organize work so that the end result is excellent. You have a positive attitude and a flexible approach, easily adapting to changing circumstances.
